Joan D'Arc was her stage name.  She had performed in many European soft core sex films in the early 70s.  She stuck to mainly lesbian scenes or self-gratification, but, she'd never perform sex with a man.  There were a lot of those girls back then, even in the magazines.  When questioned why they wouldn't portray "normal" sex, they had a stock answer..."It's complicated."  Now, that either meant that they were strictly lesbian...or, that they had a boyfriend in the mob.  This way, directors knew what they were in for if they hired the girl.
